Professional Training Experience at Accademia Leomilla
Combine your academic studies with a practical professional experience in Tuscany.
Leomilla offers curricular internship opportunities for university and upper-secondary school students who wish to gain practical experience in an international educational, language and tourism environment while developing professional skills in a real working context.
The internship takes place at Accademia Leomilla in Castelfiorentino, Tuscany, and has a minimum duration of 2 weeks.
A PRACTICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Depending on the student’s academic background and learning objectives, the internship can focus on different professional areas, including:
Translation and localisation
Interpreting and communication
International business and economics
Marketing and digital marketing
Media management and communication
Travel and tourism
Accounting and business administration
Language education and international student services
The programme is adapted to the student’s field of study, level of education and learning objectives.
WORKING HOURS
The internship takes place from Monday to Friday, with a standard schedule of:
09:00 – 13:00
14:00 – 16:00
30 hours per week
The exact timetable and activities may be adapted according to the student’s educational programme and the requirements of the sending institution.
PROFESSIONAL TUTOR
Each student is assigned a company tutor who follows the internship, provides guidance and supports the student throughout the experience.
The tutor helps the student understand the professional environment, assigns activities appropriate to their level and provides feedback on their progress.
MORE THAN AN INTERNSHIP
Students can also have the opportunity to participate in selected cultural and social activities organised by Accademia Leomilla, allowing them to discover Tuscany, meet other international students and experience Italian culture beyond the workplace.
Participation in activities is subject to availability and is not included in the basic internship fee.
